About Travel Calculator

travel-calculator.com is run by FOM LTD, a small independent company based in Northumberland, in the north-east of England. We built it because the questions every traveller asks, like "how many Schengen days have I got left?" or "what will this drive actually cost?", deserve quick, clear and reliable answers.

Travel rules and costs are full of small details that are easy to get wrong: whether your arrival day counts towards your Schengen allowance, how a UK gallon differs from a US one, or when your 90 days actually reset. Each tool on this site does one job, explains how it works and shows a worked example, so you can check the answer yourself.

How we keep our tools accurate

• Calculations follow the published rules and standard unit conversions, and are tested against worked examples.
• Each guide shows the date it was last reviewed. We review guides when official rules change.
• Example prices are clearly marked as examples, and you can always enter your own.

This site is independent and is not affiliated with the European Union, any government or any travel company. It is funded by advertising, which lets us keep every calculator free to use with no sign-up.
